Questions
FAQs
What can I expect in my first session?
The first session is a low pressure environment that will focus on getting to know more about you and your story. In the first session we will also review necessary paperwork, go over policies, scheduling and discuss any questions you may have.
Insurance?
I am not accepting insurance clients at this time and only accept private pay. However, you may be eligible for reimbursement from your insurance company, if you submit a detailed receipt called a “superbill.” I can provide a superbill to you upon request which you can then submit to your insurance provider.
How and when do I pay for a session?
Accepted forms of payment are cash and credit card. If you decide to use a credit card, you will need to put that card on file through Simple Practice, the HIPAA compliant system where you will also schedule your sessions and submit paperwork (click ‘Book A Session’ above to be taken to Simple Practice). HSA accounts are also accepted.
You will be billed at the end of the day the session took place.
What is your cancellation policy?
If you cannot make a session please cancel or let me know 48 hours ahead of your session. If you do not cancel or let me know 48 hours ahead of time, you will be charged the full rate. If you are feeling unwell, you will not be charged the cancellation fee, although telehealth (video) is a great option to still have your session.
