Welcome to Brian Collison Counseling! It takes a lot of courage to want to make changes in your life and I want you to know I am so glad you are here. If you are wanting to work through past trauma, anxiety, depression, people pleasing, perfectionism, stress, shame, unwanted coping behaviors and move towards greater peace in your life, welcome.

This is a place for men and women who want to be free from past trauma, break unhealthy patterns of behavior and move towards peace with yourself and with others. I’d consider it an honor to walk alongside you as you move towards hope and healing.

Meet Brian

Brian Collison, MA, Licensed Professional Counselor
Hi there, my name is Brian. My approach to therapy is trauma informed and collaborative. I primarily use Internal Family Systems and EMDR therapies to help you get unstuck and move towards the life you want. I approach therapy from a place of curiosity and compassion for every part of you. I provide a non-judgmental space for you to be real about the hurts and pains from your past, your experiences in the present and your concerns for the future. My aim is to provide a warm, collaborative environment that helps move you towards greater hope and healing. I truly enjoy helping clients find a greater sense of peace with themselves and with others and would consider it an honor to walk alongside you on that journey.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Colorado. I have an MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Denver Seminary and a MA in Intercultural Studies from Columbia International University. I am IFS level 1 trained and EMDR trained. I have been practicing since 2021 and work with individuals 18 years old and up.
Outside of work, I enjoy being active, running, watching a good movie or show, and spending time with my wife, family and friends.
